Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about working with us. Can't find your answer? Message us and a senior team member will reply, or read our guides on planning and building apps.
Working together
What kind of companies do you work with?
Startups building their first product, growing companies adding new apps or features, and established businesses that need a dedicated design and development team. We have particular experience in healthcare, e-learning, SaaS and fintech.
How does a project start?
With a free 30-minute consultation. If we are a good fit, we run a short discovery phase to agree goals, scope, timeline and budget, then move into design and development sprints.
Who will I work with day to day?
The same senior designers and developers who scoped your project, plus a delivery lead. You talk to the people doing the work directly, through Slack, WhatsApp or your own tools.
How often will I see progress?
Every two weeks. Each sprint ends with a demo of working software you can test yourself, not just a status report.
Pricing and timelines
How much does an app or website cost?
It depends on scope, platforms and integrations. After the consultation we give you a clear estimate. For an MVP we usually recommend a fixed scope and budget; for ongoing work, a dedicated team at a monthly rate.
How long does it take to build an MVP?
Most MVPs launch in 8 to 12 weeks from the start of discovery. Larger products are released in stages, so you get value early.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No long lock-in contracts. Fixed-scope projects end when the agreed scope is delivered, and dedicated teams run month to month after an initial period we agree together.
Technology and ownership
Which technologies do you use?
Figma for design; React, Next.js, Laravel and Node.js for the web; Swift, Kotlin, Flutter and React Native for mobile; and WordPress where a CMS makes sense. We choose based on your product, not habit.
Do we own the code and designs?
Yes. Once invoices are paid you own all source code, design files and accounts. Repositories, app store accounts and cloud services are set up in your name.
Can you take over an existing product?
Yes. We start with a short audit of the code, design and infrastructure, share what we find, then propose a plan to stabilise and improve it.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance, monitoring, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and continued feature development.
